Prepare and bake dough for pies, bread, rolls, and batters for muffins, cookies, cakes, icings, and frostings according to recipes or custom orders.


Work: Bakers perform some or all of the following duties: , Operate machinery; Frost and decorate cakes or other baked goods; Ensure quality of products; Determine production schedule for quantity/type of goods to produce; Oversee sale/merchandising of products; May hire, train, and supervise staff.

Requirements: You usually need a high school diploma.
